Australia all out for 343 in first innings against India
Australia were all out for 343 in their first innings early on the second day of the opening cricket Test against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday.
The last-wicket pair lasted 16 balls on the second morning and added six runs to their overnight score of 337 before Stuart Clark was out hooking paceman Zaheer Khan.
Zaheer peppered Clark with a couple of short-pitched deliveries before Clark launched into a hook and was caught on the fine leg boundary rope by Harbhajan Singh to end Australia's innings.
Zaheer finished with 4-94 off 23.4 overs with skipper Anil Kumble taking with 5-84 off 25 overs.
The forecast was for fine, sunny conditions on the second day's play.
