West Indies name team to face South Africa A

West Indies opening batsman Daren Ganga will have his first match on the current tour when he plays against South Africa A in a four-day match at Buffalo Park on Wednesday.

Ganga will partner Devon Smith at the top order when play starts at 1030am (4:30 am Eastern Caribbean Time).

The team will be captained by Dwayne Bravo, who continues to stand-in for Chris Gayle, still recovering from a hamstring injury sustained on the tour of Zimbabwe.

The West Indies will use the match as part of their continued preparation for the first Test against South Africa at Sahara Oval in Port Elizabeth, starting on December 26.
